HULL NEW THEATRE

NEW THEATRE

The investment in the New Theatre will resolve issues currently experienced by visiting touring companies who will be capable of staging bigger more impressive shows as the stage is to be increased both in size and height.

The existing dressing rooms are being altered, providing more modern up to date facilities. The reposition of the loading bay for the touring trucks will provide direct access for the large scenery installations onto the stage. Once updated the theatre will have cemented its reputation as one of the best touring theatres in the UK.

The new entrance will be at pavement level which will ensure it is accessible for all along with a new café/bar which is to be located at the new entrance to the theatre. Additional seating is to be achieved and this combined with ease of access to food and drinks will greatly improve the theatre experience and offer to the public.
