C4Di @TheDock

The development of the C4Di centre within the Fruit Market is world-class workspace for digital and technology companies and individuals which offers access to a 3GB symmetric connection, meeting rooms, events spaces and workshops plus a world-class support framework for business start-ups. This new iconic building, funded in part by the European Regional Development Fund, is immensely important for the growth of the digital economy for Hull. The C4DI also helps bolster the resources available to creative arts and cultural organisations in the wider Fruit Market by offering facilities for networking and support.

The establishment of the C4DI as a new digital hub provides a local base for services that can support renewable energy technology industries, which the LEP are working hard to attract to the Humber region.

The Stage@TheDock opened in August as the city’s newest outdoor venue. It is programmed by the Freedom Festival and has already played host to this event, plus a number of other summer events. The Stage sits on top of the redeveloped Dry Dock area and offers not only a fantastic multi-purpose events space, but also a wonderful aspect of the city with The Deep acting as the perfect backgrop.
